There has been a news story where WhatsApp will allow there to be a setting where messages will vanish after seven days. Where they say this will give "peace of mind that conversations aren't permanent, while remaining practical so you don't forget what you were chatting about"

I don't think this is a good idea as it doesn't allow for any backup of conversations and if you needed to go back for any reason, you wouldn't be able to. 

This feature definitely would not be useful for us at Arabella, as we have a WhatsApp group that all the staff use. If we needed to know the date of when something happened we would need access to the conversations way before seven days prior.

This week I have been working from home having my online calls with Emma and making further progress with my Online and Offline Marketing Report. This has consisted of covering the rest of the content for our exam next month and completing mock exams to familiarise ourselves with the types of questions we could be faced with.  It has been great catching up with Emma and getting to grips with the content and knowledge required. With some more revision over the following weeks I feel as though I will be confident taking the exam.

WEEK TWENTY THREE

Twitter are planning to create a 'fleets' update, this is a tweet that can be posted and is only visible for 24 hours. The idea behind this update is to make it easier and make people feel comfortable talking about issues and possibly controversial topics. This could provide positive aspects such as more customer interaction as they will be less worried about their comment, likes and shares being on the internet for people to look back at. However, it would not allow for us to go back and view customer comments or feedback. At Arabella, we do not use Twitter however if we were to use it this could be a good feature for us to use.

WEEK FOURTY SEVEN

This week the work has commenced to begin getting the Rundholz AW21 Collection online ready for Pre-Order including all three, Mainline, DIP and Black Label. This is a huge task as we have got over 250 different styles coming for this next season. As well as this mammoth task beginning, we have also announced, 25% off all high summer brands that had originally been excluded for the half price sale. Not only is all of that happening, we have had a Hannoh Wessel delivery! This is extremely exciting for both us and the customers. We can not wait to get this online!
